With more than 30 years of learning development and communications experience, Scott leads the company’s professional and leadership development practices, which includes executive succession planning/talent reviews, leadership development strategy and managing CNP University, the company’s corporate university. His responsibilities also include leading learning technology strategy implementation. Scott joined CenterPoint Energy in 1994 and has spent the majority of his career in HR. While at CNP, he has held other leadership roles in learning and organizational development as well as consulting positions within electric operations and HR communications. Scott has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Communications from Lamar University.
